Last year the wacky artist, James Kuhn, promised to paint his face with a different design every day for one year. Well, he has now finished his year-long challenge. See amazing videos of the creations brought to life here
Some of his creations are so convincing it is hard to work out where his facial features are under the make-up
Since his story first appeared in October, the 46-year-old from Three Oaks, Michigan has amassed fans from all around the world
Of his efforts, James says: "This has been the hardest thing I have ever done - and the most rewarding
"So many days I just did not feel like getting covered in paint. Sometimes I was sick or tired and one day I even had a fever of 102 degrees so I just couldn't do it. I did do one the next day and I was still so hot that the paint ran down my face"
"But the entire experience stretched my imagination and forced me to reach deep inside for more and more ideas"
"I never run out of ideas. I drive a bus for the elderly and handicapped for 10 hours a day, so I'm always looking at myself in the rear-view mirror," he says

Some of the faces Michigan-born artist James Kuhn has made include cartoon characters like childhood favourites Winnie the Pooh, Piglet...
and Tigger. It seems anything can influence him and anything can find its way onto his blank canvas of a mug
...and America's Got Talent judges David Hasselhoff and Sharon Osbourne. James was flown to Las Vegas last week to shoot his audition for the talent show, but he is tight-lipped about whether Sharon, Piers Morgan and The Hoff liked his fabulous faces. We will find out if he got through the auditions when the show airs later on this summer
He seems to have a thing about food. Kuhn's face has been a bucket of popcorn, a delicious ice cream...
